Bioscaffold International has developed a unique technology in collaboration with A STAR Singapore to fabricate customized scaffolds for Tissue Engineering with pre determined strength and porosity. Conventionally technologies used for fabrication of tissue engineering scaffolds were having limitations with either strength or porosity. With the current technology, it is possible to develop scaffolds with customized strength and porosity or macro-space using synthetic polymers. Currently Bio-scaffold is working towards customized metallic scaffold development for use in Orthopedics, Dentistry and allied fields.

Ageing Gracefully in Prime

"Everyone desires a symmetrical face with healthy looking facial skin. But what about the teeth and underlying jaw bone structure? As young adults, we have intact, facial bone structures and healthy teeth which make us look youthful. These same youthful looks are observed in middle aged or even old individuals who have been able to maintain their facial structure. It might be called graceful aging but it is not an accidental phenomenon or due to luck. It is directly related to the state of their oral and dental health."
